The Rural Community of Alnwick received a rating of 3 Blooms and a special mention for Growing Pride in the Community during the 2024 Communities in Bloom Symposium and Awards Ceremonies in the City of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The Rural Community of Alnwick participated in the Atlantic Edition - Population Evaluated category along with Carbonear NL; Chipman NB; Come By Chance NL; Mahone Bay NS; Miramichi NB; New Maryland NB; Pilley's Island NL; and Woodstock NB.
